I was watching this scene from my balcony the other afternoon. The cat was trying to ambush a sparrow and was taking all precautions while moving closer, for the final jump on it. But the sparrow managed to escape.
Από το μπαλοκόνι μου παρακολουθούσα αυτή την σκήνη πρίν από δυο μέρες. Η γάτα πλησίαζε προσεκτικά τον σπουργίτη και ήταν έτοιμη για την τελική έφοδο, αλλά τελικά ο σπουργίτης κατάφερε να ξεφύγει.

Delightful captures! I always enjoy seeing the cats stalking their prey, but mainly because the birds were always quicker and get away just in time! Fun shots for the day, Costas! Thanks for the smiles! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Sneaky cats, very clever. My garden is s full of plant life, that cats manage to sneak in way too often and they are not my cats either;'(~
Whew! I am relieved to know the sparrow escaped. My Meepsie would NEVER stalk a bird! HA
