I love to visit and walk on the mountains. I have visited Mt Pindos several times. This time I went as high as the skiing resort hoping I would see some snow. But it looks like I went 20 days early. Nevertheless, I enjoyed being and walking there again.
Μ' αρέσει ν' ανεβαίνω και να περπατώ στα βουνά. Έχω περπατήσει αρκετές φορές πάνω στην Πίνδο. Αυτή τη φορά ανέβηκα μέχρι το χιονοδρομικό κέντρο της Βασιλίτσας κοντά στα Γρεβενά, ελπίζοντας να βρώ λίγο χιόνι. Αλλά φαίνεται πως ανέβηκα εκεί καμμιά εικοσαριά μέρες νωρίτερα. Παρ' όλα αυτά, απόλαυσα για άλλη μια φορά την βόλτα μου εκεί.
It was not very cold, but ut was nice to have a coffee next to the fire place before taking the road again.
Δεν έκανε πολύ κρύο αλλά δεν ήταν άσχημο ένα φλυτζάνι καφές δίπλα στο τζάκι πρίν πάρωμε τους δρόμους πάλι.

We live only 2 hours from the Rockies...my favorite place to holiday- in any season!

I grew up near the ocean and now live at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. I like both, but if I had to choose, the mountains would win every time. Hikes in the mountains are just so peaceful and inspirational. Beautiful images, every one!!!
