There are many beautiful villages on Mt Pindos. Some small, other larger, some inhabited only in summer, some completely deserted and falling apart, some with new or renovated houses but all are beautiful.
Υπάρχουνε πολλά χωριά στην Πίνδο. Μερικά μικρά, άλλα μεγαλύτερα, μερικά κατοικούνται μόνο το καλοκαίρι, μερικά τελείως παρατημένα και ερειπωμένα και άλλα με καινούρια ή ανακαινισμένα σπίτια. Το καθένα όμως με την δική του ομορφιά και χάρη.

Η αλήθεια είναι πως εμείς της πόλης παρόλο που θαυμάζουμε αυτές τις εικόνες δεν θα μπορούσαμε να ζήσουμε ποτέ για μεγάλο διάστημα σε αυτά τα μέρη!
Άλλο αν κι εμείς από χωριά κατεβήκαμε!
Πάντως είναι υπέροχα εκεί για ηρεμία, χαλάρωση και διακοπές!

Spring is showing by you too, the grass is green and the blossoms are beautiful but it takes some time till the snow melts in the mountains too.

These beautiful villages are mostly inhabited in summer. During the winter most inhabitants are moving to lower places.. so they dont get cut off the rest of the world. When it snows it is really bad up there on the mountains. This winter was relatively mild though and the snow did not last long as you can see.
As for the church shown here.. there was a real bad ground erosion under the yard surrounding the church and half the church was falling apart with cracks on the walls. Now they are trying to stop the wall from falling reinforce the walls and repair all the damage done.
